Skylodge Hotel Perth Scotland Expands With 6 Studio Rooms

Perth, Scotland (PRWEB) December 12, 2007 -- The Skylodge hotel at Perth Airport is expanding with the development of 6 open plan, self-contained studio rooms each featuring it's own patio.

The expansion is due for completion in April 2008 and is in addition to the 60 rooms the hotel currently boasts. The rise in hotel business has presented the need for more accommodation and a demand for larger self-contained rooms, for those looking to stay for more than a few nights.

The studio rooms consist of a kitchen, lounge, bedroom with en suite and a study area with an Internet connection. Outside each studio room has it's own south facing decked patio.

3 miles from Perth city centre, Skylodge was opened in 2000 and is based at Perth Airport. The building was initially used as accommodation for aviation students but refurbished and upgraded on conversion in to a hotel. Each current room has an en-suite bathroom, colour TV, and hospitality tray. All rooms are on ground level including a fully serviced disabled room.

Skylodge is ideally located for a country break, with a wealth of opportunities on the doorstep and the opportunity to explore central and Highland Scotland, or see Perthshire from the air with trial flights, micro light, hot air balloon or helicopter which all leave from the runway at the Airport.
